Job summary

TC Group, a growing Top 20 UK accountancy firm, is seeking an Audit Manager in Rochester. You will manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients from planning to completion, ensuring high-quality audits delivered on time.

You will lead planning meetings, mentor junior staff, and act as the main client contact, building strong professional relationships while ensuring compliance with UK standards. Hybrid working and supportive development are offered.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualifications required or equivalent.
• Currently operating at Audit Manager level within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients from planning through to completion.
• Ensure audits are delivered on time and to high quality standards.
• Lead audit planning and meetings, mentoring junior team members.
• Act as main client contact and build lasting relationships.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve issues with RI guidance.
• Review files and statutory financial statements for completeness.
• Support continuous improvement across the audit department.
