Job summary

Fletcher George are recruiting an Audit Manager for the Guildford area, offering hybrid and flexible working with car parking. You will manage a varied audit portfolio, lead assignments end-to-end and act as the main client contact, while developing the audit team and supporting Partners on complex matters.

The role targets experienced Audit Managers from Top 20/Top 50 firms or independent practices with strong audit offerings, and requires UK practice experience and professional qualification.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ICAS/ACCA/SAICA or equivalent.
• Experience in UK accountancy practice environment is essential.
• Proven leadership and people-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied and technically interesting audit portfolio.
• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Act as a key point of contact to clients and manage relationships at larger groups.
• Mentor and develop team members, including (semi) senior staff.
• Oversee workflow, planning and team review; support partners on complex matters.
