What you'll be doing

• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients including owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed entities, and international groups.
• Leading and reviewing audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring efficiency and high-quality delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for added value.
• Overseeing resource planning, team allocation, and time budgets across engagements.
• Coaching, mentoring, and appraising team members to support their continued growth and development.
• Supporting business development by identifying potential new clients and opportunities within your portfolio.
• Taking ownership of ad-hoc project work, including advisory and value-added services.

What you’ll bring

• ACA or ACCA qualification, with solid post-qualification experience in audit within practice.
• Strong working knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 101, IFRS, and UK GAAP.
• Experience at Manager level, with proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills and commercial awareness.
• Organised, proactive, and resilient, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, CaseWare, Sage, and related audit software.
