Job summary

A leading company in the risk management sector is seeking an Audit Manager to oversee audit plans and manage a team of auditors. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring non-conformances, conducting external audits, and enhancing assurance programs. This contract position requires recognized auditing qualifications and prior experience in HSEQ leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Recognised Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor qualifications required.
• Experience in a similar HSEQ leadership role preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 and CDM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage audit plans for the business.
• Develop and monitor an assurance program for HSEQ risks.
• Coordinate external ISO audits and manage the Audit team.

Job Description:

As the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for establishing the audit plans for the business and managing a team of auditors, you will collectively be undertaking risk-based audits.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing a non-conformance database detailing findings from audits. You will be required to provide stakeholders with visibility of all non-conformances and improvement opportunities.

Main Duties

• Develop implement and monitor an effective assurance program to cover risks detailed within the HSEQ Risk Register
• Manage and co-ordinate external ISO audits and supplier/ contractor audits.
• Manage and develop the Audit team to provide a highly effective service across the business.
• Monitor non-conformances and escalate areas of potential impact.

Experience and Qualifications

• Recognised Lead Auditor Qualification
• Recognised Internal Auditor Qualification
• ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 Awareness
• Working knowledge of SIPP and CDM
• Experience in a similar HSEQ leadership role
• Working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 & 90001
• Working knowledge of CDM requirements
• Demonstrable Project Management Capability
