Audit Manager Position - North East Office

We are currently recruiting for an Audit Manager to join our client's North East office.

Due to tremendous success and growth, we are assisting this firm with the recruitment of a highly experienced Audit Manager.

This exciting opportunity will involve:

1. Recruiting, motivating, developing, and coaching the audit team.
2. Presenting on internal student training courses.
3. Assisting in the production of proposals and presentations for new work.
4. Managing audit teams on various assignments, with line management responsibility for a group of staff, along with other managers.
5. Managing key client relationships and expectations.
6. Monitoring budgets and agreeing fees for each engagement.

Requirements

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques, ideally within a firm of chartered or certified accountants.
• Experience with performance appraisal and development.
• Experience with due diligence and handling of ad hoc special assignments.
• Up-to-date with current technical accounting issues.
• Ability to identify areas of risk within clients’ businesses, define the appropriate audit approach, know when to refer upwards, and apply judgment.
