The Skills Coalition in Bristol is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead and develop a diverse client portfolio in a growing accountancy firm. You will manage audits, advise on governance and technical matters, and mentor a team while building strong client relationships.

With UK GAAP/IFRS expertise and ACA/ACCA/CA qualification, you’ll play a key role in business development, corporate transactions, and delivering high-quality services in a hybrid, full-time role based in Bristol.

• Strong technical knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, Companies Act).

An established and growing accountancy firm with offices across the Southwest is seeking a confident and experiencedAudit Managerto join its expanding Bristol team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing varied and engaging audit work, building strong client relationships, and helping lead and mentor a team.

About the Role

• Manage a diverse client portfolio with turnovers ranging from £1m to £100m
• Act as a trusted adviser to clients, providing support on audit, commercial, and technical matters
• Take responsibility for client relationships and broader services, such as remuneration planning and corporate structures
• Advise on corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and fundraising
• Play an active role in business development and winning new work (both audit and non-audit)

What We’re Looking For

• ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified
• Strong technical knowledge (UK GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, Companies Act)
• Confident, proactive, and commercially minded
• Proven leadership and team development experience
• Effective communicator with a strong focus on client service
