Learning and Development (L&D) is central to our strategy within the Audit Stream, crucial for attracting, developing, and retaining talented professionals. Effective L&D enhances quality and productivity by equipping our team with essential knowledge and skills to excel and reach their potential.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Manager / Senior Manager to join our Learning Development team. The role is suitable for a high-performing, ambitious individual eager to support current initiatives and shape future L&D strategies during a growth phase. This position reports to the Development and Monitoring Lead (DAM).

The team comprises learning designers responsible for creating impactful content aligned with business needs, using innovative methodologies and insights. The successful candidate will lead a portfolio of programs, review content, mentor junior team members, and support strategic initiatives like our Learning Library and Culture programs.

Ideal candidates will have practical audit experience, a solid understanding of financial reporting, ethics, and professional conduct, and experience in designing technical learning content. Formal design qualifications are advantageous but not essential, as experience levels will be considered.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK, with travel to London and other offices as required, including residential stays for certain courses.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing impactful, innovative content aligned with learner needs and business outcomes
• Reviewing content created by team members to ensure quality, efficacy, and consistency
• Building and maintaining relationships with content SMEs and stakeholders
• Supporting program delivery through project management and facilitation
• Designing, curating, or creating technical and non-technical learning content
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members and supporting team initiatives
• Collaborating with various teams to align learning objectives with business needs
• Leveraging audit experience to develop relevant learning solutions
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement in learning design

Required skills and experience:

• Senior managerial experience in program development, with technical and non-technical content expertise, preferably with regulatory reporting knowledge
• Proven experience in authoring and reviewing learning content; formal qualifications are a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of modern learning design methodologies, tools, and technology
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coach, develop, and inspire others while working independently
• Experience with behavioral change or cultural programs is beneficial
• Excellent communication, analytical, and data skills
• Understanding of business strategy and focus on high-quality outputs
