Job summary

Pro-Recruitment is partnered with a fast-growing North of England accountancy practice recruiting an Audit Director or Partner to join the senior leadership group. Lead diverse audit portfolios, advise business owners, and help shape growth strategy while developing future leaders in a collaborative culture.

The role offers market-facing responsibility, flexibility, and a route to long-term progression within a respected regional firm.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with RI status, or eligibility to obtain it in the near term.
• Strong experience leading audit engagements and managing client relationships.
• Deep technical knowledge of UK audit and financial reporting standards.
• Commercial awareness & an eye for identifying growth opportunities.
• A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse portfolio of audit clients across sectors.
• Act as trusted adviser to business owners and senior stakeholders.
• Support development of high-performing audit teams and future leaders.
• Build relationships with intermediaries and key contacts across the region.
• Play a leading role in driving growth strategy and expanding regional presence.
