W Talent Finance is seeking an Audit Director in Sheffield to lead the audit and assurance service line within a well-established regional firm. You will guide strategic direction, oversee key client relationships, and ensure delivery of high-quality audit services across a diverse client portfolio.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with UK accountancy practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across the audit and assurance function.
• Lead the growth and development of the audit service line.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of key audit clients across sectors.
• Maintain strong relationships with business owners, directors and senior stakeholders.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality audit assignments in line with standards.
• Support business development activities, including tenders and proposals.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships.
• Mentor and develop managers and wider audit teams.
• Drive improvements in audit quality and processes.
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives.
