Job summary

W Talent partners with a well-established accountancy and professional services firm to recruit an Audit Director in Sheffield. The role leads the audit and assurance service line, guiding strategy, client relationships and delivery of high-quality audits across a diverse client base.

You will shape the firm's direction, develop talent, support growth, and play a key role in future success. ACA/ACCA qualified candidates with leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified with ACA or ACCA and significant UK practice experience.
• Demonstrated leadership within audit environments.
• Experience at Director/Senior Manager level or equivalent.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across the audit and assurance function

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience within UK accountancy practice
• Proven track record of leadership within an audit environment
• Experience operating at Director, Senior Manager or equivalent level
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards
• Extensive experience managing complex audit portfolios and senior client relationships
• Demonstrable business development and commercial experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially minded with a passion for delivering exceptional client service
