Job summary

Pro-Finance is seeking an Audit Director in Leeds to lead external audits for SME clients, under RI sign-off, driving quality, technical excellence, and client relationships. The role supports a collaborative, growth-oriented firm with hybrid working options and clear career progression.

The successful candidate will oversee audit delivery, manage a high-performing team, and contribute to business development and service improvements within the office and region.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with RI status.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs.
• Proven track record leading audit teams and managing clients.
• Commercially minded and client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

We have been briefed on a confidential role with a leading and rapidly growing firm who are seeking an Audit Director, ideally with their RI status to join their team in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in a forward-thinking and client-focused environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partners to deliver a high-quality external audit service to a diverse portfolio of SME clients, playing a key role in shaping the future of the audit offering in the region.

What you will be doing as an Audit Director
