Job summary

RSM UK Group LLP is seeking a School Leaver – Audit Data Analytics to join our Manchester team starting September 2027. You will work at the intersection of analytics and audits, helping to shape how data-led insights strengthen client engagements.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with Alteryx, SQL, Python and Power BI while progressing toward the ICAEW ACA qualification, supported by technology training and career development. This is a structured graduate pathway within a global firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of UCAS points: 112 across three A levels or 104 across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Genuine interest in technology and data analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
• Willingness to adapt and learn continuously.
• Background in maths, computer science, economics, finance or related field useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Understanding engagement risks, data sources, and the analytics needed for audits.
• Preparing, reconciling, and analysing client data to support audit procedures.
• Running tailored analytics for various audit engagements including complex scenarios.
• Developing repeatable analytical approaches to improve audit evidence quality.
• Translating analytical results into outputs usable by audit teams.
• Progressing toward ACA qualification while building audit and data skills.
