Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a motivated analyst to join the Audit Data Analytics Team. You’ll work at the intersection of advanced technology and data-led insight, helping shape how audits are performed and delivering real value to clients.

You’ll develop technical and commercial skills from day one, collaborating with industry experts and contributing to impactful projects across sectors. This is a career where you build relationships with colleagues and clients while progressing toward ICAEW ACA.

Qualifications

• UCAS points requirement as listed for UK candidates
• Permanent right to live and work in the UK
• Genuine interest in technology and data analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Willingness to learn and adapt to change
• Background in maths, computer science, economics or finance is useful but not essential
• Experience with data analysis tools like Alteryx, SQL or Python is useful but not essential

Responsibilities

• Understand engagement risks, data sources and analytics questions with audit teams
• Prepare, reconcile and analyse client data to support audit procedures
• Run tailored analytics for specific audit engagements
• Develop repeatable analytic approaches to improve audit evidence quality
• Translate results into outputs usable by audit teams
• Build audit, accounting and data skills toward ACA qualification
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to build strong relationships
