Job Description

  • Coordinate and execute internal audits to ensure financial and operational processes are compliant with standards.
  • Identify areas of risk and implement strategies for mitigation.
  • Deliver regular audit reports, outlining findings and providing recommendations.
  • Liaise with various departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Facilitate training on audit procedures and compliance for staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Participate in special audit projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Coordinator should have:

  • Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an audit role within an accounting practice firm or Not for Profit organisation.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytic abilities and attention to detail.
  • Superb communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
