Job summary

Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited in Salford is seeking an Audit & Client Manager to lead a varied portfolio of owner‑managed businesses, groups and not‑for‑profit organisations. The role blends hands‑on audit leadership with advisory exposure and client ownership.

You'll work in a hybrid Salford environment with a clear pathway to Senior Manager, developing people and delivering high quality statutory accounts, tax support and wider advisory projects.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with solid UK practice experience in audit and accounts.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of owner‑managed businesses and not‑for‑profit entities.
• Experience leading audit assignments from planning to sign‑off and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Build relationships with clients and act as primary contact on accounting and advisory matters.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts under FRS 102/105 and tax computations.
• Provide VAT, management accounts and general advisory support.
• Supervise trainees and develop junior staff, with feedback and guidance.
