Job summary

Armstrong Watson is seeking a Graduate Chartered Accountant in Manchester to join our Audit team. From day one you’ll work with real clients, gain professional qualifications and receive support to become a trusted business adviser.

We offer a three-year programme with ACA study support, hands-on client exposure across diverse sectors, and clear progression as your confidence grows within the firm.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree or above (any discipline) or predicted.
• Full AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent).
• Seven GCSEs (or five National Qualifications) including Maths, English and a science.
• UCAS points: 96 from A Levels or equivalent, or Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle for travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Work in Audit to support client assignments across sectors.
• Develop technical, commercial and professional skills during training.
• Balance professional studies with real client work from day one.

Education

2:1 degree or above (any discipline)

AAT Level 4 qualification

GCSEs: 7 including Maths, English and a Science

UCAS points: 96 from A Levels or equivalent

UK driving licence (by Sept 2027) and own vehicle for client sites
