Job summary

bk plus in Huddersfield is seeking an Audit Associate to join our audit team. The role offers a pathway to ACA or ACCA while gaining exposure to the full audit process across a range of clients.

You will understand client systems, plan procedures, complete assignments, analyse financial statements, and support senior staff. The successful candidate will join a supportive team and participate in year-end stock counts, building practical skills for a professional qualification.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Audit Associate to join our audit team based in Huddersfield. The role will see you gain either your ACA or ACCA qualification and give you exposure to the full audit process.

Brief Job Description

• Obtaining an understanding of client systems and processes
• Client and industry research to aid in planning process, including risk identification
• Completing designated assignments within a timely manner. These will cover all aspects of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account
• Analysing financial statements for anomalies and regulatory compliance
• Liaising with clients to attain relevant information necessary to complete audit procedures
• Assisting senior staff with complex and significant risk areas.
• Reporting and advising on identified internal control observations and misstatements to management
• Attending and performing year end stock count
