Job summary

bk plus in Huddersfield seeks an Audit Associate to join the audit team and pursue ACA or ACCA qualifications while gaining exposure to the full audit process.

You will work on client systems, perform planning research, and assist with year-end stock counts and reporting on controls and misstatements.

Qualifications

We are currently recruiting for an Audit Associate to join our audit team based in Huddersfield . The role will see you gain either your ACA or ACCA qualification and give you exposure to the full audit process.

Brief Job Description

• Obtaining an understanding of client systems and processes
• Client and industry research to aid in planning process, including risk identification
• Completing designated assignments within a timely manner. These will cover all aspects of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account
• Analysing financial statements for anomalies and regulatory compliance
• Liaising with clients to attain relevant information necessary to complete audit procedures
• Assisting senior staff with complex and significant risk areas.
• Reporting and advising on identified internal control observations and misstatements to management
• Attending and performing year end stock count
