What will you be doing?

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Audit team in Newcastle.

You will be responsible for planning, performing, and completing the audit process for each assignment. You will ensure clients receive high-quality service through effective resource management and collaboration with relevant departments.

As an Audit Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing relationships with key contacts at the client.
  • Ensuring clients receive efficient and proactive service, exceeding expectations.
  • Identifying issues and coordinating resolutions with the client Partner or Director, keeping them updated on progress.
  • Understanding the commercial aspects of the client's business and its impact on our work.
  • Highlighting opportunities for the company based on the work undertaken.
  • Maintaining regular communication with the client to confirm progress, address hurdles, and meet expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Fully ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Demonstrable audit and accounts experience within a professional services firm.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and with clients.
  • Ability to manage projects and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience supervising others and delegating tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
