Job summary

RSM UK is offering an External Audit apprenticeship programme designed for school/college leavers. You will work with audit colleagues, conducting risk-focused reviews and helping ensure accurate financial statements.

You’ll begin studying toward Chartered Accountant qualifications as you join and complete exams early in the programme. You’ll become a core team member quickly, work with owner-managed to large listed clients, and have the chance to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• UCAS points thresholds across different routes (A levels, Scottish Highers, Irish Leaving Certificate).
• Evidence of right to work in the UK is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in risk-focused audits of client financial records, processes and controls.
• Support training toward Chartered Accountant qualification from day one.
• Collaborate with audit teams on client work and gradually take on project responsibilities.
