Audit & Accounts Supervisor – Leatherhead

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey

Numero Recruitment is currently working with an international accountancy practice in Leatherhead seeking to strengthen their corporate service team by recruiting an audit & accounts supervisor. The firm provides advice and services to some of the world’s wealthiest individuals and companies and offers a progressive environment for the right candidates to become future Directors and Partners.

The firm is ideally looking for qualified practice professionals but is also open to part-qualified individuals with previous experience leading audit engagements.

The Role:

• Manage a client portfolio with annual turnovers between £40m and £100m.
• Report directly to partners and provide regular updates on clients and audit progress.
• Have direct responsibility for up to 3 junior team members and serve as the ‘in-charge’ on multiple engagements.
• Prepare accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships, and participate in advisory projects as they arise.

Requirements:

• Must be ACA/ACCA qualified.
• Previous experience leading audit engagements for clients with turnovers of at least £20m.
• Driven and ambitious, with opportunities to progress to Assistant Manager within 18 months.
• No sponsorship required to work in the UK.
