Job summary

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Experience in external audit within an accountancy practice.
• Good understanding of UK accounting standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Work with clients across various industries and sectors.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements.
• Support delivery of audit engagements for SMEs and not-for-profit organisations.
• Build strong client relationships and act as main point of contact on audits.
• Identify risks and resolve audit and accounting issues.
• Mentor trainees and junior staff, supporting the team.
• Collaborate with managers and partners to deliver an excellent client experience.
