Job summary

Sterling Partners in Didsbury, Manchester, is seeking an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior Accountant to join its growing team. You will work on statutory audits, accounts preparation and tax assignments, with study support included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accountancy firm or practice, including both accounts preparation and audit work.
• Proficiency in IRIS, Xero, Sage and Microsoft Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Support audit planning, fieldwork and completion for a range of clients.
• Prepare accounts and tax returns accurately within deadlines.
• Discuss accounting and audit issues with senior staff and managers.
• Assist with variances, testing procedures and documentation of working papers.
