Job summary

ACCA Careers in Camberley is seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to support accounting and audit functions within a professional services environment. You will handle a mix of audit and accounts preparation tasks, helping deliver timely, accurate services to clients in a hybrid working setup.

The role requires at least 2 years in an accountancy practice, experience in preparing accounts and supporting audits, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience in preparing accounts and supporting audit processes.
• Knowledge of accounting software and systems.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and tax regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Studying towards professional accounting qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assist with audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Support in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
• Liaise with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide updates.
• Assist in identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies or irregularities.
• Work closely with senior team members to ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide support in tax computations and submissions as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting and auditing standards.
