Job summary

Accountable Recruitment is recruiting an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior for its Blackpool office to join a growing team. The role offers exposure to a diverse client portfolio across industries, with clear progression and study support toward ACCA.

The package includes a competitive salary (£24,000–£38,000 DOE) and a hybrid/flexible working setup. You will work on statutory accounts, assist with audits, and contribute to client service while developing technical expertise and professional

Qualifications

• 3 years UK accountancy practice experience.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts for different client types.
• AAT qualification with ambitions to start or continue ACCA; study support available.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach with ability to build client relationships.
• Collaborative attitude and desire to develop within a forward-thinking practice.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and LLPs.
• Assisting with audit assignments, including fieldwork and audit file preparation.
• Building strong relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day queries.
• Working alongside Managers and Partners across a varied client portfolio.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Developing your technical knowledge through practical experience and ongoing professional study.
