Job summary

Clark Wood are recruiting an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior in Blackpool to join a forward-thinking independent practice. You will prepare year-end accounts for a diverse client base, and support statutory audits, working with Managers and Partners to maintain high professional standards.

The ideal candidate has at least three years' UK practice experience, AAT qualification, and is either studying ACCA/ACA or starting soon. Competitive salary, study support, and good career development offered.

Clark Wood are currently working with a highly regarded independent accountancy practice who are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join their growing team in Blackpool.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm with a strong reputation across the North West. The practice works with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, providing excellent exposure to both audit and accounts work.

The successful candidate will be involved in preparing year-end accounts for a varied client base including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and LLPs, whilst also supporting the delivery of statutory audit assignments. Working closely with Managers and Partners, you will assist with audit fieldwork, client liaison and the completion of assignments to a high professional standard.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience within a UK accountancy practice environment, with exposure to both accounts preparation and audit work. You will be AAT qualified and either studying towards ACCA/ACA or looking to begin your studies. Strong communication skills, good attention to detail and the ability to build effective client relationships will be essential.
