Job summary

McGinnis Loy Associates is seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified Audit Manager / Audit & Accounts Manager for their Reading-based offices. You will lead a portfolio of medium-sized and larger audit assignments, oversee junior staff, liaise with Partners, and contribute to business development opportunities.

The role requires a strong track record in audit and a willingness to travel to client sites. A salary up to £70,000 plus benefits is on offer, with a company pension, healthcare and 23 days holiday.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-qualified Audit experience in SME and larger corporate businesses.
• Experience in Top100 or well-established regional accountancy firms.
• Proven ability to manage multiple audit assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of audit assignments across multiple sectors.
• Review audit files and plan upcoming jobs with junior staff guidance.
• Ensure audits are completed on time, within budget and high quality.
• Supervise and review on-site work by junior staff (up to 4).
• Use accounting software for client reporting and statutory papers.
