Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant UK audit experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of statutory audit and accounts preparation.
• Experience managing assignments and overseeing delivery.
• Ability to manage client relationships and communicate confidently at all levels.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to juggle priorities.
• ACA or another relevant professional qualification preferred (ACCA considered).
• ACA study support available; ACCA study support not offered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion.
• Manage portfolio of audit and accounts clients across sectors.
• Plan, oversee and review statutory audits.
• Review statutory accounts and financial statements for compliance.
• Manage assignment budgets, deadlines and workflow.
• Act as key contact for clients, providing guidance on technical queries.
• Mentor and develop junior and senior team members.
• Collaborate with senior management and partners on service delivery and business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen client relationships.
