Exactitude Resourcing Limited based in Havant is seeking a mixed audit/accounts professional. The role offers £40-50k depending on experience, with hybrid working and a minimum of 2 days in the office.

The firm is well established with several partners and a strong local reputation; audits are mainly charity work, complemented by accounts and tax tasks.

The successful candidate will lead a small audit team, perform audits, and contribute to client relationships across a range of services.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA fully qualified or PQ and working towards this or QBE with ambition and willingness to qualify.
• Experience planning and working on audits of varying sizes.
• Client facing experience.
• Management skills.

Responsibilities

• Client audit assignments: in house preparation and attendance at client premises is 35% of the role.
• 65% other duties such as preparing accounts, and drafting tax computations.
• Planning of audits for review by manager/partner.
• Preparation of compliance tests and required paperwork prior to assignment.
• Supervise and develop audit staff.
• Maintain liaison with supervisor and client staff to solve problems.
• Manage assignment time within budget and ensure timely completion.
• Assist with accounts finalisation and tax computations.
