Charity Accounts Manager – Newquay / Hybrid – £30k - £35k

They seek to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager; a permanent, full-time opportunity offering very favourable hybrid working options, as well as an office base overlooking a beautiful part of Cornwall.

This is a position of pivotal importance within the organisation and one that works closely with the Director of Finance and HR Director. Working as part of a small but passionate team, this will be a broad and varied role with the following responsibilities:

• Being responsible for the day-to-day finance function, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations
• Preparation of all journal entries and balance sheet for month end
• Reviewing all expenses ensuring correct documentation and coding
• Cashflow and income monitoring
• Support with the design and implementation of guides/training, as well as continual improvement of finance systems
• Assist with payroll operations
• Ad hoc project/ problem solving as the office expands
• Support the Director across administrative tasks such as Finance, HR, IT and general operations as required
• Liaison with external auditors and stakeholders
