Job summary

Broadgate is seeking an Audit Manager for the Non-Profit & Charity sector, covering Canterbury or Chatham with hybrid working arrangements. You will manage a diverse portfolio of charities and not-for-profits, leading audits from planning through to completion and advising clients with senior stakeholders.

Audit Manager – Non-Profit & Charity Sector | Canterbury or Chatham | Hybrid | £67,000–£85,000

We’re looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join a growing Non-Profit & Charity team. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of charities, not-for-profits, educational organisations and social enterprises, giving you the chance to build strong client relationships while working on audits that support organisations with a real purpose.

You’ll take ownership of engagements from planning through to completion, dealing with more complex audit matters, advising clients and working closely with senior stakeholders. You’ll also review work and support junior team members, while having the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the wider team.

What we’re looking for

• You’ll ideally be ACA, ACCA, ICAS or similarly qualified, with solid external audit experience gained within professional practice. Experience working with charities, not-for-profits, education or social enterprises would be highly advantageous, particularly knowledge of Charity SORP.
• You’ll be confident managing a portfolio, leading audits and building strong client relationships. You’ll also enjoy supporting others and want to continue developing your own career.
