Job summary

Butler Rose Public Practice is seeking an Audit & Accounts Manager in Huddersfield. The role covers 75% audits and 25% accounts with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years in a senior level role at a UK accounting practice.
• Experience managing audits from planning through to completion.
• Strong accounts and audit file review experience.
• Ability to manage, support and develop junior staff.
• Experience using Iris for accounts and tax return preparation.

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well established medium size firm whos got an opportunity for an Audit & Accounts Manager to join their team. The role will be 75% Audit and 25% Accounts with flexible working arrangements..

This is an excellent career growth opportunity for a Senior to move into a Management role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage audits from planning through to completion.
• Manage, support and develop staff.
• Review accounts and audit files on behalf of the partners.
• Prepare accounts and tax returns using Iris software.
• Work closely with the partners to deliver a high-quality service to clients.

Key Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA Qualified (Essential)
• Minimum of 2 years in a Senior level role at a UK accounting practice
• Previous experience managing audits from planning through to completion.
• Strong accounts and audit file review experience.
• The ability to manage, support and develop junior staff.
• Experience using Iris software for accounts and tax return preparation.
• A proactive, ambitious approach and an interest in progressing within practice.
