  • Act as a trusted point of contact, understanding clients' businesses and identifying opportunities to add value.
  • Manage workflow and deadlines across multiple assignments.
  • Supervise, review and support the work of junior and trainee members of the team.
  • Delegate effectively and provide coaching and feedback to support the development of team members.
  • Work closely with the senior team on more complex client matters and advisory requirements.
  • Contribute to the continued development and growth of the practice and its client base.
What's in It for You?
  • The opportunity to join a highly successful and established accountancy practice.
  • A varied portfolio of interesting clients with genuine client-facing responsibility.
  • Regular client site visits and the opportunity to build strong commercial relationships.
  • A role combining audit, accounts, client management and people leadership.
  • The opportunity to develop and mentor a team.
  • Excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and business owners.
  • A supportive and professional working environment.

Requirements
  • Qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA.
  • Strong practice experience across audit and accounts.
  • Proven experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Confident reviewing accounts and working with a varied client portfolio.
  • Previous experience supervising or managing junior team members.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable attending client sites and dealing directly with business owners and senior management.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
