Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager – Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes

One of the regions largest independent firms, a firm which prides itself on their excellent service delivery, are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Manager into their Audit& Accounts & team in Milton Keynes.

This is a well regarded firm that continues to grow and a firm that has very high staff retention.

The Role:

  • As an Assistant Manager you will report into the General Practice/ Audit Partners working with the Managers & Senior Managers running the department.
  • The successful individual will undertake a varied and challenging position in which the workload will include compliance work in the form of; Planning and completion of audits for a broad range of clients.
  • Effectively managing and reviewing the work of a team of Auditors
  • Reporting directly to and communicating effectively with the Audit Manager/Audit Partner
  • Ensuring all sections of an audit file are correct and completed in a timely manner ensuring that all statutory disclosures have been made
  • Clearing review points from the Manager/Partner in order to finalise audits
  • Performing corporation tax and deferred tax computations

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • Recent experience of managing client audits and supervising a team
