Job summary

Reed in Stoke is seeking an Audit & Accounts Assistant to join a growing accountancy practice. The role offers exposure to both audit and accounts, with hands-on client work and a clear development path in a friendly team.

You will work with seniors and managers across a varied client base, building technical and practical experience while studying towards ACA/ACCA and benefitting from hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice (audit, accounts or mixed role).
• Studying towards ACA / ACCA (or looking to start).
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients
• Supporting audit assignments from planning through to completion

Location: Stoke (hybrid working available) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The role

We're supporting a growing Accountancy firm in Stoke who are looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.
