Job summary

Catering is seeking a Full Time Audiologist to join our Thurrock Warehouse team. The role involves providing diagnostic audiology and rehabilitation services to a range of patients and professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Diagnostic Audiology and rehabilitation services to ENT surgeons, GPs, hospitals, and the public.
• Diagnose and design rehabilitation plans including cochlear implants or bone-anchored hearing aids.
• Fit hearing aids and adjust ear moulds as needed.
• Provide information and advice to patients on managing their condition.

The Audiologist will be responsible for providing Diagnostic Audiology and rehabilitation services to Consultant ENT surgeons, GPs, Hospitals, Law Firms and the general public.

The duties will include:

Checking hearing, including sound level and frequency range.

Diagnosing and designing a rehabilitation plan involving an assessment for patients who are suitable for cochlear implants or bone anchored hearing aids.

Fitting hearing aids and making modifications to ear moulds.

Giving patients information and advice on how to manage their condition.

Ensuring daily maintenance of test equipment and arranging calibration as and when required.

To be suitable for the Audiologistrole you will:

Hold a BSc degree in healthcare science audiology

Be registered with the HCPC

Be service oriented experienced in going the extra mile

Energetic and familiar with working in a fast-paced environment
