DMC Healthcare is seeking a self-employed Audiologist to provide Audiometry tests and Hearing Aid fittings for NHS patients across Humber & North Yorkshire / Lincolnshire ICB. On-site positions with responsibilities in ENT clinics and rehabilitation guidance, supporting adults and children.

The role requires a degree in Audiology with clinical placements, openness to travel, and excellent communication. This is a contract-based opportunity for dedicated audiologists.

Qualificações

• Degree in Audiology with clinical placements.
• Experience with microsuction is desirable.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the Lincolnshire area.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct pure tone audiometry and hearing tests.
• Provide rehabilitation advice to patients and carers.
• Perform diagnostic tests during ENT clinics for adults and older children.
• Maintain accurate patient notes and documentation.
• Oversee audiometry tests and hearing aid fittings as part of NHS service.

Key Responsibilities

• Pure Tone Audiometry: Conduct precise and accurate hearing tests.
• Rehabilitation Advice: Offer guidance to patients and carers.
• Diagnostic Procedures: Perform tests during ENT clinics for adults and older children.
• Professional Development: Maintain and document your growth.
• Audiometry tests / Hearing Aid fittings

Duties to include:

• Conduct first assessments following guidelines and protocols.
• Develop and implement individual patient treatment plans.
• Provide advice on assistive listening devices and refer to other agencies as needed.
• Perform timely diagnostic tests during ENT clinics.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient notes and information.
• Understand patient pathways and maintain accurate waiting list data.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Relevant degree in Audiology or equivalent with completed clinical placements
• Experience with microsuction (desirable but not essential)
