Sensory Audiology & Optical Recruitment is partnering with a long-standing family-run hearing and eye care company to recruit a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist for an on-site role at East Devon Medical Centres. The position offers a strong salary package and a pathway to ongoing professional development.

You will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, determine the extent of hearing loss, fit hearing aids, and provide patient counselling while collaborating with other healthcare

Formación

• Qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist
• NHS Adult Hearing Services experience preferred
• Excellent patient communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations for patients
• Determining the extent and nature of hearing loss using diagnostic tests and equipment
• Recommending and fitting appropriate hearing aids and assistive listening devices
• Providing counselling and education on proper use and care of hearing aids
• Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting hearing aids as needed
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
• Staying updated on advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations for patients
• Determining the extent and nature of hearing loss using various diagnostic tests and equipment
• Recommending and fitting appropriate hearing aids and assistive listening devices to patients
• Providing counselling and education to patients on the proper use and care of hearing aids
• Monitoring patients' progress and making adjustments or modifications to hearing aids as needed
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with hearing disorders
• Staying updated on the latest advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology
