Warehouse Supervisor - Audio Visual Live Events/Dry Hire

Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a background in the events or AV industry? We're currently working in partnership with a leading Audio Visual dry hire company based in South West London (SW19), who are on the lookout for a hands-on, detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join their fast-paced, collaborative team.

The Role

As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy AV warehouse, ensuring equipment is prepped, maintained, and dispatched to the highest standard. You'll play a vital role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes - working closely with technicians, freelancers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervising a small warehouse team and freelancers during peak periods
2. Ensuring all AV equipment (lighting, video, sound, rigging, etc.) is properly tested, cleaned, and prepped for dry hire
3. Coordinating incoming and outgoing rentals, checking kit in and out using the asset tracking system
4. Managing repairs, stock control, and inventory management
5. Maintaining health & safety standards and keeping the warehouse well-organized
6. Liaising with transport and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and collections

We're looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and has a solid understanding of AV kit, preferably gained within a rental or events setting.

You’ll need:

1. Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or senior technician role
2. Strong understanding of AV equipment (lighting, audio, video, rigging, etc.)
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills
4. The ability to lead and motivate a small team
5. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, especially during busy event periods
6. Forklift license or PAT testing certification is a bonus (but not essential)
