The QEII Centre is looking for an AV Technician to join their Operations Department. This role involves providing technical presentation services, from rigging AV equipment to operating during events. Candidates should have a strong background in AV technologies and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients. This is an opportunity to contribute to impactful events in a prestigious location.
We are the QEII Centre, London's premier venue for domestic and international events. Located in Westminster, our award-winning Centre offers modern, flexible spaces for conferences, exhibitions, award ceremonies, dinners, and fashion shows.

Part of the Operations Department, QEIILive delivers AV services crucial to our success, working closely with event managers to provide first-class technology solutions.
To perform duties assigned by the Discipline Head or Senior AV & IT Logistics Manager, working as part of a professional team to provide technical presentation services at the Centre and other venues.
Required: Technical knowledge of AV equipment, especially stage lighting, and experience in conference, theatre, or TV environments.
Note: Other duties may be assigned beyond those listed.
Experience with corporate AV equipment, proactive team collaboration, excellent communication, punctuality, and presentation skills. Ability to assess risks and make decisions under pressure.
Qualification in AV or equivalent experience, IOSH or similar health and safety training, rigging and slinging training preferred.
