The Opportunity

As Commercial Manager for this successful Audio Visual company, your role will be to drive AV project procurement, gross profit optimisation, and maintenance contract lifecycle to ensure cost control, supplier reliability, and recurring revenue growth.

You will collaborate with project, finance, service, and sales teams while managing end-to-end commercial operations including invoice approval, supplier engagement, logistics, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead procurement of AV equipment; validate BOMs, chase supplier quotes, negotiate best pricing, manage lead times, supply risks, and order placement.
  • Generate and distribute monthly project-level Gross Profit (GP) reports; analyse variances, forecast margins, support PMs with cost recovery, value engineering, and quote research.
  • Approve all internal and external invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
  • Own full maintenance contract lifecycle and client contract management: track renewals (90120 days pre-expiry), negotiate terms, upsell service tiers, maintain centralised database with SLAs, pricing, and escalation clauses.
  • Build and manage preferred supplier frameworks; conduct QBRs and supplier meetings, chase suppliers for orders, resolve disputes, ensure compliance (RoHS, CE, warranties).
