Job summary

Very Group is seeking multiple Category Assistants to join our Audio and Vision department, supporting brands such as Samsung, Hisense, LG and Sony. You will help align category management with our digital experience and marketing teams to better serve customers.

In this role you’ll work with trading, marketing and customer experience teams within our Retail group, handling stock planning, forecasting and price activity.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising and/or buying.
• Strong Excel and numerical skills.
• Ability to analyse and communicate insights clearly.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• A collaborative approach and relationship-building ability.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product set up from go live to trading.
• Create line-level forecasts and order requirements to maximise availability.
• Manage stock through critical path, progression and replenishment.
• Use pricing tools to make pricing recommendations.
• Assist in sourcing new suppliers or brands with range-building forecasting and promo activity.
• Produce adhoc reports for the wider category.
