NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde seeks an Audio Typist for the Trauma & Orthopaedic Department at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This full-time role includes typing support for a variety of medical professionals while ensuring confidentiality and high accuracy. This is a permanent, full-time position with a shift pattern from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Applications are invited for the role of Audio Typist within the Trauma & Orthopaedic Department, based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive typing support to Orthopaedic Consultants, Nurse Specialists, ESPs, and junior staff, while supporting the secretarial team. Occasional assistance with other administrative tasks may be required. The role demands high accuracy, confidentiality, initiative, and effective workload management. Candidates should possess a Secretarial Studies certificate, advanced keyboard skills, proficiency in English and medical terminology, and knowledge of PC Office software.

Desirable qualifications include knowledge of medical terminology, awareness of Trust policies, and familiarity with patient administration systems.
