This is a permanent, part-time position of 22 hours per week, with a shift pattern from Monday to Friday. The salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
We are seeking a skilled audio typist to join our surgical specialties team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional typing speed and accuracy, along with a solid understanding of medical terminology. Responsibilities include transcribing medical reports, letters, and other documents accurately and efficiently. The audio typist will support consultants in General Surgery and Urology, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and junior medical staff, as well as assist the secretarial team and provide occasional support to the general admin team.
The role requires initiative, confidentiality, excellent time management, and the ability to meet performance targets.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for sponsorship, and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
