Reach plc in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Audience and Content Editor to maximise reach and engagement across our Scottish titles, including the Daily Record, Edinburgh Live, Glasgow Live and Scottish Daily Express. The role is hybrid from our Glasgow hub, with a 5-days-in-7 schedule across early/late/weekend shifts.

You will drive audience growth, subscription opportunities and ensure IPSO-compliant journalism across all channels while working with reporters and editors to reach the right

Formación

• Excellent editorial judgement with knowledge of Scottish, UK and world news.
• Deep understanding of the titles’ missions and audience needs.
• Proven digital publishing track record with video, writing and images.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and KPIs like pageviews

Responsabilidades

• Curate homepage, section fronts, and newsletters.
• Drive subscriber growth and retention.
• Publish and distribute content on social media and platforms.
• Develop advanced content opportunities (polls, graphics, video).
• Monitor editorial KPIs and use trends to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with reporters and editors to reach audiences.
• Ensure content is legally sound and IPSO compliant.
