Job Introduction

Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Audi Worcester.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00, a 40-hour week (with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, averaging 41.5 hours per week).

Our packages and new pay plans are industry-leading and reflect each applicant's experience and skillset.

• The basic salaries start from £32,000 up to £42,000
• Bonus / OTE’s range from £38,000 up to £48,000 (uncapped bonus)

Ideally, we are looking for Service Technicians with Volkswagen Group experience but will consider all applications if you hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

Role And Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing, repair, and diagnostics, ensuring high standards first time.
• Main responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
• Additional responsibilities may include repairs on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, and control systems.
• Ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
• Understand Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
• Operate additional systems like video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
• Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer standards.
• Work closely with the workshop team to share knowledge and learn.

About You

• Experience in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.
• Experience at independent garages, fast fit centers, car supermarkets, or main dealers is welcome.
• Hold or be working towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• MOT License is beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Demonstrate good mechanical and electrical knowledge and high work standards; training provided to support your career growth.
