Job summary

North Wales Audi, part of Sytner Group, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the accounts department, from sales and purchase ledgers to cash postings and reconciliations. The role is office-based with no remote working, and may require weekend shifts to ensure high service levels.

The successful candidate will have experience with accounting routines, stock checks and month-end reconciliations, and familiarity with CDK/Kerridge and Microsoft Office is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounting routines including stock checks and month-end reconciliations.
• Knowledge of CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system is advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounts functions from sales and purchase ledgers to daily cash postings and bank reconciliations.
• Assist the Dealership Accountant and Management with ad-hoc duties as required.
• Work a flexible pattern between Mondays–Friday, with possible weekend work to maintain service levels.

About the role

North Wales Audi has a fantastic opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

As a Sytner Accounts Assistant, you will support the day to day functions of the accounts department from the sales and purchase ledgers to the daily cash postings and bank reconciliations. You will also assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team in other ad-hoc duties where required.

Sytner Accounts Assistants work a variety of flexible patterns between Mondays – Friday; however, this sometimes can include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

About You

Previous experience and a good working knowledge of all accounting routines, including stock checks and month-end reconciliations are essential. Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office would is not essential but would be advantageous.

Ideally, you will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines whilst paying attention to detail and working both as an individual and as part of a small team.

Please consider that this is an office based role, with no remote working and you should therefore be within commutable distance of the dealership.
