Job summary

Sytner BMW Warwick is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day ledger operations, cash postings and bank reconciliations. You will assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

The role operates on varied patterns Mon-Fri; weekends may be required to ensure high levels of service for customers. Experience with stock checks and month-end reconciliations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and good working knowledge of all accounting routines, including stock checks and month-end reconciliations.
• Knowledge of CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and MS Office is advantageous.
• Enthusiastic, well organised, diligent and capable of meeting strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day functions of the accounts department from sales and purchase ledgers to cash postings and bank reconciliations.
• Assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team with ad-hoc duties as required.
• Work patterns from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts to maintain service levels.

About the role

Sytner BMW Warwick has a fantastic opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

As a Sytner Accounts Assistant, you will support the day to day functions of the accounts department from the sales and purchase ledgers to the daily cash postings and bank reconciliations. You will also assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team in other ad-hoc duties where required.

Sytner Accounts Assistants work a variety of flexible patterns between Mondays - Friday; however, this sometimes can include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

About You

Previous experience and a good working knowledge of all accounting routines, including stock checks and month-end reconciliations is preferred. Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office is not essential but would be advantageous.

Ideally, you will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines. In addition, you will have a good attention to detail and are able to work both as an individual and as part of a team.
