Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talentwise are recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join the engineering team supporting The London Dungeon and Shrek's Adventure! London.

This role focuses on safe, reliable operation and proactive maintenance of a diverse range of equipment including animatronics, ride systems, pneumatic/hydraulic equipment and electrical systems. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical and control systems within a

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Engineering discipline.
• Strong mechanical fault finding and maintenance experience.
• Good working knowledge of electrical systems and controls.
• Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and diagnostic fault finding.
• Competent in the use of diagnostic software, test equipment and measuring instruments.
• Strong focus on safety, reliability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities across rides, animatronics, special effects equipment and attraction infrastructure.
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Supporting the upkeep and reliability of themed sets, props and guest facing assets.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Completing reactive repairs in a timely manner to minimise attraction downtime.
• Using diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with health, safety and operational standards.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance and reliability.
