Job summary

Lift Sir Herbert Leon is seeking an Attendance & Wellbeing Lead to support students and families in overcoming barriers to attendance, engagement and wellbeing. The role includes home visits, data-driven interventions and acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to safeguard pupils.

It is a full-time position in Milton Keynes with a fixed-term contract through July 2027. You will liaise with school staff and external agencies, monitor trends, and help reintegrate students back into school

Qualifications

You’ll be an excellent communicator who can build positive relationships with students, families, colleagues and external professionals.
You’ll be confident using data to identify patterns and inform decisions.
GCSEs in English and Maths are required; full UK driving license is essential for home visits.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyse attendance and punctuality, identifying trends and areas for intervention.
Work directly with students and families to understand and overcome barriers to attendance.
Undertake home visits where appropriate and support students to reintegrate into school.
Coordinate attendance interventions and work collaboratively with school colleagues and external agencies.
Support students experiencing wellbeing or safeguarding concerns as a named DDSL.
Build strong relationships with families, ensuring they can access appropriate support and services.
